It’s probably obvious by now that we are not ones to sit back and watch the world go by! Over the next month we will be making lots of noise about our programme and why we think it’s so important to develop creativity in young people.
Later this month, our Instigator Kim Mackenzie Doyle will sit on a panel at SX21. SX 21 is a 3-day online broadcast event that will bring together some of the greatest minds, industry champions, start-ups, investors, public sector officials, NGOs and the academic sector in an effort to collaborate, share, learn and create for the long term benefit of society, purpose and planet. This is right where The B!G Idea belongs:: 3 days, 75+ speakers, 50+ countries, 30+ exhibitors, 1 Planet.
This is HCD will be hosting their next meet up on Thursday 23 September and Kim will be one of the special guests along with Ashwin Chacko on the day. The topic of conversation will be Purpose and the big question on the day will be ‘Why do you do the work you do?’ Your purpose defines and empowers your work and becomes the lens through which you make all your creative and strategic decisions. Kim and Ashwin will be chatting about their journeys towards recognising their purpose.
On Thursday 7th October, The Kildare Local Enterprise Organisation will host an online event for National Women’s Enterprise Day. Kim will join some of Ireland’s most inspiring female entrepreneurs and business women for a day of inspiration and learning on how you can build your future in business and what will help you get there! In particular, Kim will explain how being innovative and using creativity and design thinking can help develop new products, systems or ways of scaling your business.
Interaction Design Conference World International Design Day will take place on September 28. This is an annual event where as a global community we unite to show how interaction design improves the human condition. Kim will be discussing Designing Movements – Why use our diverse skills to make more apps, make more money, more plastic products? We can change the world with creativity, change thinking, change mindsets, change the future. We can design movements!
And if she hasn’t keeled over from talking too much by then, Kim will be a mystery guest for a world leading creative agency’s inspiring Team Talk later on in October.
