HundrED.org is an amazing organisation dedicated to the innovation of education all over the world. It identifies, amplifies, and facilitates the implementation of impactful and scalable education innovations – and we’re honoured to once again be considered for the Collection!
IDI Awards 2023 – Winner
The IDI 2023 Irish Design Awards showcase the best of Irish design and we’re proud to say that we didn’t come home empty handed! This year we were delighted to receive the award for best Use of Technology for The B!G Idea Platform in the Creative Practice and Collaboration category.

HundrED.org Global Collection 2024
We are so proud announce that The B!G Idea has been selected as one of the top 100 innovations to watch out for in 2024 in The HundrED Global Collection!
The Global Collection highlights 100 of the brightest education innovations from around the world each year. Our programme was chosen from over 3,000 innovations collected and was reviewed by an expert academy board. Our creative thinking initiative is not only impacting the lives of young people across Ireland but is also internationally recognised as impactful and scalable.
Annual Technology Ireland Awards 2023 Shortlist
We were shortlisted for the Annual Technology Ireland Awards 2023 Tech 4 Good – Product/ Service Award! Technology Ireland Director, Una Fitzpatrick, said: “The shortlisted candidates for the 2023 Awards reflect the outstanding achievements and relentless dedication of the Irish technology community.” We are truly delighted to be selected!
IDI Awards 2023 – Shortlisted
We made the shortlist for the 2023 IDI Awards! We were nominated for multiple categories too, all for our AMAZING Creativity Cards made with the support of CEUD. We are up for: Design for Good, Design Education and Research, Use of Image-Making, and Use of Technology.
Diversity in Tech Awards 2023 – Social Impact Award
We are so delighted to announce that The B!G Idea has won the 2023 Social Impact Award as part of the Diversity In Tech Awards. The Social Impact Award celebrates an individual, team or network that is driving significant, positive change that addresses social, political, environmental and economic challenges for communities.
ICAD Creative for Change – Design Silver
The ICAD Bell is one of the highest awards in Ireland, and recognized around the world, as a benchmark of creative excellence and has been for 60+ years. And WE GOT ONE!

The HundrED mission is closely aligned with The B!G Idea’s – both are dedicated to helping every child flourish by giving them access to quality education!
The Ireland Funds – Heart of the Community Fund
The Heart of the Community Fund is an open grant round designed to meet the needs of not-for-profit organisations delivering vital services and supports to people across the island of Ireland. The Ireland Funds recognises the challenges organisations face in securing funding to build their capacity or meet their core costs. The Heart of the Community Fund 2023 is providing grants to meet these needs.
Global Win For The B!G Idea
The B!G Idea has scooped its first international accolade, winning the Education & eLearning category at the Think Global Awards on Wednesday 19th April.
