That’s right! We’ve been nominated for a Diversity in Tech Award – and we’re a little bit excited!
The Diversity in Tech Awards celebrate achievements, diversity and inclusion and our nomination is for the Social Impact Award. This award celebrates an individual, team or network that is driving significant, positive change that addresses social, political, environmental and economic challenges for communities. What an honour!
So far we’re on the shortlist with the finalists being announced on 5th September. The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 21st September in Dublin.
Other Diversity in Tech categories include International Diversity Role Model, LGBTQ+ inclusion, social mobility, disability inclusion, cultural inclusion, generational inclusion and health and wellness. An overall International Company of the Year and Special Recognition Award are also being competed for so it’s all to play for.
These awards also feature a Women in Tech awards section – which is what this event actually started out as. The Women in Tech categories include a focus on tech leadership, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, mentorship and data science. There will also be a special recognition award for women who have made their mark in innovation.
It’s been a long three years since these awards have been run and we are absolutely thrilled to be nominated. All the best to everyone who has been nominated, fingers crossed for you all!
