What does creativity mean to you?

Whether we are using creativity to problem solve or to create beautiful things, the goal is to bring a frictionless and beneficial experience into someones day and to evoke positive emotions. Creativity is the gift that fuels these experiences.

What attracted you to B!G Mentoring and what are you most looking forward to?

I’m attracted to the shared goal of making Ireland the most creative and innovative country in the world. There’s a lot of talent in this country. It never ceases to amaze me just how different we all are. Our personalities, our skills and the way our brains tick. I’m most looking forward to meeting our students and seeing how their brains tick!

What do you now know about creativity that you wish you would have known earlier in your career or when you were a student in secondary school?

If creativity doesn’t seem to come naturally, it doesn’t mean you don’t have it. You can work at it. Everyone is creative in their own way. You just need to work until you figure out your way.

Last but not least! The B!G ‘Whatif!’ If the power of creativity was unleashed in every person, young and old and in between, what do you think Ireland would look like?

We would be problem solving across all sectors. We would be the global leader in climate action innovations. And waking up on St. Patricks Day would feel like stepping into a Pixar movie 🙂
