Architect, Interior Designer and Thought Leader in Workplace Design

What does creativity mean to you?

Creativity is fun, it fosters ones self-expression and determination enabling people to explore and develop their thoughts, discovering new possibilities and ideas.

What attracted you to B!G Mentoring and what are you most looking forward to?

Sharing knowledge, supporting and motivating younger generations in recognising the value of their cognitive creative ability and how this can positively contribute in facing challenges and embracing opportunities.

Why is creativity and innovation important in your line of work?

Creativity and innovation provides architects and interior designers with the tools to face and overcome the multitude of challenges that unfold in every scale and type of project.  Constantly testing our creativity enables us to think differently recognizing the opportunities amidst the many challenges.

What do you now know about creativity that you wish you would have known earlier in your career or when you were a student in secondary school?

Creativity is inclusive, it is realised in many forms, there is no wrong or right.  It equips people with the tools that are right for them, this allows everyone to look at and take on challenges differently providing new possibilities.  Have the confidence to explore your creativity and be willing to try something new.

Last but not least! The B!G ‘Whatif!’ If the power of creativity was unleashed in every person, young and old and in between, what do you think Ireland would look like?

It would open Ireland up for new opportunities; it would be ever changing, continuously evolving and prepare us to take on future challenges.
