What was your favourite subject in school and why? |
Tech graphics/ DCG – I loved the mix of crafting complex shapes accurately by hand to then translate them digitally. I also enjoyed English for the skill of expressing thoughts.

How did you get into your line of work? Can you talk us through a quick overview of your career path to date? |
I was fortunate enough to know I wanted to be a designer since TY, I have made a clear path for myself to do just that. I chose subjects that suited it, I did an art portfolio in a PLC to open up more colleges to me, I decided on Maynooth and graduated top of class. I then worked briefly in Cork to sharpen my teeth in product design before ending up where I am now.

Every moment of the day, having creative thought as an engrained skill changes how you approach everything in the everyday.

Any top tips for young people looking to get into your area of work? |
Make something – draw, learn photoshop, write, learn CAD, woodwork, anything. Just make stuff – theory is great, but self discovery and overcoming of an issue is an irreplaceable teacher.
