As The B!G Idea expands and grows so does our team. What is now a cosy team of 6 will soon increase to 7 and with it will come some much-needed talent and experience. We are looking for a creative, energetic digital marketeer who wants to help us support young people change their world through creativity.

Salary – depending on experience and general brilliance.

The B!G Idea is a multi-award-winning creative education programme. We want to change the world with creative thinking; empowering the next generation with critical skills to tackle local and global issues. Our mentors advise and share cutting-edge methodologies with our students who use the shared knowledge directly on their chosen project. We level the playing field; all programme materials, class content and resources are provided for free to students, parents and schools.

Your role would be to manage and deliver high-quality digital experience for our various audiences. You would have the autonomy to plan content on a day-to-day basis across our website and social channels. You would help us raise funds and recruit mentors to our membership community through your work, raise awareness and connect us with our growing audience.

You would be supported by an experienced creative team with the ability to help you to deliver content that is meaningful and engaging, helping to collectively grow The B!G Idea’s impact.

We are looking for someone who enjoys strategy but gets excited about hands-on execution of marketing and engagement campaigns, A/B email testing, lifecycle marketing, churn prevention, and win-back campaigns.

Ownership & Responsibilities
Supported by the team you would:
Create and manage an online strategy.
Grow and maintain our social media presence.
Optimise our digital assets and manage our website, championing The B!G Idea’s tone of voice.
Work directly with senior management on strategic goals.
Communicate with relevant stakeholders, work with the team on supporting strategic partnerships and manage how our partners are represented online.
Have an eye on data: monitor, analyse and report on performance metrics for user behaviour and effectiveness (user growth, engagement, registrations, sign-ups).
Identify critical conversion points and drop off points and optimise user funnels.
Help us get better – contribute to continuous improvements based on insights and communicate them to the team.
Keep up to date with digital trends and share insights with the team.

You must have:
Great writing skills (mic drop).
Work independently with a self-starter energy.
Strong eye for detail and design, buckets of curiosity with creativity in your bones.
A great personality – culture is everything and we want to have the craic with you!
Experience with social media campaigns, Google Analytics and SEO, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
Developed high impact content that’s had measurable results.
The ability and willingness to drive multiple projects.
Good understanding of UX (basic principles).
Working knowledge of WordPress.

Would be great if:
You had an understanding of the creative process and its benefits.
You had a full drivers licence.
You have worked in a remote capacity before.
You had brilliant references.

We don’t care about:
What qualifications you have (there are plenty of self-taught super stars in the world).
Where you live (we are fully remote – but we would like you to attend quarterly meetings face to face and attend our events).
