B!G Digital Design Intern Needed

Digital / Visual Communication Graduate. Fully Remote | Paid Position | Flexible Hours

We are looking for a creative and energetic Digital / Visual Communication Graduate who wants to help young people change their world through creativity. This is a paid, fully remote role with flexible hours, ideal for someone who loves design, colour, and fresh ideas.

About The B!G Idea

The B!G Idea is a multi-award-winning creative education programme.

Our mission is simple but ambitious: to change the world through creative thinking. We empower young people with the critical skills they need to tackle local and global challenges. At the same time, our industry mentors share cutting-edge tools and methodologies that students apply directly to real projects.

Importantly, we level the playing field. All programme materials, class content, and resources are provided free to students, parents, and schools.

About the Role

In this role, you will help us strengthen our visual identity and communication.

Specifically, you will bring fresh energy and ideas to our brand assets, social media visuals, and internal templates. As a result, our message will land more clearly across all audiences.

You will work closely with an experienced and supportive team who will help you grow, experiment, and develop meaningful creative content.

What You’ll Do

With team support, you will:

• Create a brand pack that clearly communicates best practice
• Design templates for presentations (Keynote and Google Slides)
• Propose and create social media visuals across platforms
• Refresh and develop visual assets for key programme activities

What We’re Looking For

You should:

• Be a self-starter who works confidently and independently
• Have a strong eye for design, detail, and layout
• Be curious, creative, and positive
• Enjoy colour and visual storytelling
• Have experience with social media (personal or project-based)
• Have working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Be based in Ireland (we meet in person occasionally)

It’s a Bonus If You:

• Understand the creative process and its benefits
• Have experience with WordPress (not essential)
• Have worked remotely before
• Can provide strong references

• Formal qualifications (we love self-taught creatives)
• Where you live in Ireland (we are fully remote)
