The B!G day we’ve all been working towards is fast approaching — so now is the time to mark it in your calendar.
On May 21st, from 1–3pm, our national B!G Idea Showcase will take place, and it promises to be an unforgettable afternoon filled with creativity, innovation and celebration. Over the past number of weeks — including throughout lockdown — our students have worked incredibly hard to develop innovative solutions to real-world B!G challenges. Meanwhile, more than 100 industry mentors have generously shared their expertise over the Easter break, helping students refine and strengthen their ideas.
Now that students are back in school, they are collaborating face-to-face once again. As a result, they are polishing their proposals, sharpening their thinking and preparing their final submissions. Soon after, our Superstar mentors will return for the unenviable — yet exciting — task of judging these outstanding entries. Ultimately, the grand final will be streamed LIVE on May 21st.
And now for the super exciting news…
This year’s showcase will take place at First Landings, Dublin — an incredible creative venue that perfectly reflects the spirit of The B!G Idea. Even better, the entire competition will be live-streamed directly from our website. Therefore, no matter where you are, you can tune in and experience the energy, creativity and excitement.
Of course, the creative industry glitterati will be in attendance. In addition, we are thrilled to announce that our MC will be none other than Emma Power from 2FM. Naturally, our students are counting down the days. Likewise, our mentors are eager to see the final outcomes. And as for us at The B!G Idea — we cannot wait to witness months of dedication and creative problem-solving come to life.
