This year’s Think B!G boxes have officially been ordered, packed and delivered to schools across Ireland. In total, more than 4,000 packs arrived in classrooms last week — a true milestone and a powerful example of careful logistical planning.
Each Think B!G box we designed to support creative learning in an inclusive way.
First, every student receives a bright, see-through pencil case in B!G Idea colours. Inside, it’s filled with essential tools including a pencil, pen, post-it notes and tape. These practical items will support students right through to Leaving Cert.
In addition, each pack includes:
Together, these materials reinforce The B!G Idea’s core principle of inclusivity. We believe every student should have equal access to the tools they need to explore creativity and develop life-changing skills.
Importantly, the Think B!G boxes also include resources for teachers.
To make delivery as seamless as possible, teacher packs contain:
As a result, teachers can confidently deliver the programme, regardless of location or school type.
Once packed and labelled with the correct quantities and sizes, all boxes went directly to schools across 21 counties.
Delivering the Think B!G boxes always marks a major milestone in the programme calendar. While we have moved on from the Covid days of packing and hand-delivering boxes ourselves, the sense of achievement remains just as strong.
Even better, the positive feedback from teachers continues to remind us why this effort matters.
Being a mentor doesn’t just mean giving feedback on student projects. It also means contributing to initiatives like the Think B!G boxes, which help democratise creativity across Ireland.
By ensuring every student receives the same tools and opportunities, we remove barriers to participation. In turn, we empower young people to build confidence, think critically and develop real-world skills.
