Teaching Creative Skills

Our multi-award winning free creative programme has been designed to empower your students with the 21st century skills they need. Developed by educational and industry experts, your students will have the opportunity to gain transferable skills to support them in tackling the B!GGEST problems they might face.
Learning Resources

Learning Resources

We have created a full 14-week creative programme of learning resources for your Transition Year, Leaving Cert Applied, Northern Ireland programme students or Youthreach and Community Training Centre learners. Each and every one of our teachers and tutors receive a teaching pack to support in-class activities regardless of their school context. If that was not enough, you will join our B!G Teacher community with exclusive offers from our partners.
What's Included?

What's Included?

As the facilitator to our programme, you are supported every step of the way. All resources are digitally formatted with two lessons per week. The adaptable format can be used for either a 40-minute class or a 1-hour class with teacher prompts and lesson plans included. With built-in assessment structures and additional class materials, we have you covered.
Bridging the Gap

Bridging the Gap

Our national and international network of professional experts share knowledge directly with your students, supporting them in their project development. We match student teams with our industry Mentors giving them the opportunity to gain advice on next steps, ask questions to get students thinking, ask them things to consider or offer resources to explore.
Student Packs

Student Packs

Our missions is to democratise creativity. We provide a free B!G Idea Learning Pack to every student, which includes all the materials needed to engage in the programme from - a LEGO pack for systems thinking exercises, a sketch book to capture brainstorming and reflection, all the stationary needed to engage in lessons and activities, and some other surprises.

In for the Win

While our main focus is on skill development, we do like to celebrate your students’ hard work with our end-of-year showcase. With bespoke trophies for category winners, cash prizes, great speakers, all to celebrate the students B!G impact and ideas that you’ve supported, it’s a must attend. Check out our 2023 showcase highlights!

Student Exhibition

Student Exhibition

We want to share each and every one of your students' hard work in our virtual online exhibition. Through the programme, student teams produce three final outputs; a Process Poster which documents their project development, a Project Proposal Poster communicating their B!G Idea and finally, the all-important Video documenting how they collaborated together.
Aligned with Policy
