This year’s Think B!G Boxes are officially on the move! After a fair bit of packing, counting, checking and general logistical wizardry, this year’s boxes are making their way out to schools across the country this week.
And these aren’t just any boxes. They’re packed with everything students need to get stuck into the Think B!G 2026/27 Programme from LEGO and notebooks to Creativity Glasses, Creativity Cards, stationery and plenty of space for B!G ideas.
There’s a simple reason we send a box to every participating school: everyone gets the same opportunity to take part. It’s about making sure every student has the tools they need to take part, wherever they go to school. So the Think B!G Box brings the tools to them, making it easy for every student to get involved, get creative and have a go.
And there’s plenty in there for teachers too. Alongside the student goodies, teachers will find the resources they need to bring the programme to life in the classroom including the challenge briefs, learning materials, A3 paper and a few little extras to keep the creative juices flowing.
The numbers have grown considerably since the days when we packed and delivered the boxes ourselves. These days, getting hundreds of boxes to schools around the country takes a bit more logistical muscle! But there’s still something very satisfying about seeing them all lined up, ready to go and even better when we hear from teachers when the boxes land in their classrooms.
Because the Think B!G Box is about more than LEGO and stationery. It’s about removing barriers and giving every young person the tools, space and encouragement to think differently. It’s one small but very tangible part of our bigger ambition to make creative thinking accessible to everyone.
So, if you’re a teacher and your box lands this week, we hope you enjoy the unboxing! And if you’re one of our mentors, you’ll soon be helping students put all those creativity tools to very good use.
