Despite the challenges of another Covid-impacted year, the creativity and quality at this year’s awards were of the highest calibre.
The B!G Idea not only scooped the overall B!G award but we also managed to get our hands on the Design Education and Research Award. This category recognises the role that design plays in our changed world and recognises that design alone isn’t just a remedy for current and future situations but that it is actually instrumental in shaping a better future for us all. The judges were looking for entries that encourage engagement with the real world, demonstrating collaboration and outreach with industry, culture and society, raising awareness of the value of design.
I mean really! This category was simply made for The B!G Idea. We tick every single box and are so proud to do so.
Creative Thinking is the future. It is the answer to Climate Change, Racism, Ageing Population, Housing Crisis, Pandemics, Mental Health, Poverty, Inequality, pretty much every challenge the world is facing right now.
It is the ethos of our beliefs and it is incredible that after just one year in operation, we have so many other believers aswell.
