It’s been a B!G year and as always we’ve taken great pride in shouting loud and proud about our students and our programme – as well as the fabulous teachers and tutors delivering it in schools, Youthreach centres and Community Training Centres (CTC) across 22 counties of Ireland.
This summer, we reached more than 1.3 million people through 36 pieces of good news in the media. This is all thanks to the incredible journalists, editors and news producers who have supported our work with awesome news coverage.
We’ve had mega national support from RTE, Irish Examiner, Irish Independent, Farmers Journal, Irish Tech News and Tech Central and we’ve been supported by regional media all across Ireland; media that connects communities on the ground.
With incredible coverage across titles like the Laois Nationalist, Longford Leader, Derry Now, Limerick Leader, Carlow Nationalist, Westmeath Independent, Kilkenny People, Offaly Independent, KCLR Live, Munster Express, WLRFM, Evening Echo and Limerick Post, we are able to share our story and celebrate the success of our students, learners, tutors, mentors and partners.
We’ve got the biggest scoop in town!
By teaching creative thinking in Ireland, we can change how our young people think, how they respond to challenges, now and in the future. And that’s a story worth shouting about!
If you want to help us reach more young people with this free programme, as a mentor or as a company partner/supporter, get in touch with us at hello@thebigidea.ie, we’d love to hear from you! Because one big idea can change the world!
