What does creativity mean to you?

Everyone is creative! To me, it’s the ability to problem solve. It can be a vision you have or an idea, it’s all about the journey to getting to that vision.

What attracted you to B!G Mentoring and what are you most looking forward to?

Mentoring on the Big Idea in 2021 was an incredible experience, I can’t wait to see what the students come up with next!

Why is creativity and innovation important in your line of work?

The tech industry is rapidly changing, and to stay relevant and competitive you have to stay open minded, creative and innovative or you’ll be left behind.

What do you now know about creativity that you wish you would have known earlier in your career or when you were a student in secondary school?

It’s ok to fail at something, failure is a learning journey. If we don’t fail we won’t learn.

Last but not least! The B!G ‘Whatif!’ If the power of creativity was unleashed in every person, young and old and in between, what do you think Ireland would look like?

I think Ireland would be bolder, braver and more innovative!
